All High School student-athletes who plan on attending a NCAA-certified non scholastic events MUST have an active account in the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS).
o For NEW Student-Athlete Profiles
o You will need to complete a TWO-STEP Registration Process
o STEP #1- Obtain your NCAA ID#
o STEP #2- Register with the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS)
o For EXISTING Student-Athlete Profiles
o You will need to RENEW your BBCS profile account each year
o Proceed to STEP #2- Renew with the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS)
All student-athletes are REQUIRED to be registered with the Eligibility Center and obtain a NCAA ID# BEFORE they can create their BBCS profile
These accounts should be completed by the player’s parent/guardian if the player is under 18.
NCAA First-Time Registration Athlete Guide
1) Click the link to start the process:
2) Click the New Athlete Account
o Enter Your child's name and Date of Birth
☐ Use your (the parent’s) main email as the primary email to receive any notification for your child until your child is over the age of 18
3) You will be sent a Verification code to your email
o Once you enter the Verification Code successfully, you will then proceed to complete the form
4) Once the process is completed, the student-athlete will receive a NCAA 10 digit ID number.
o It can be found on the top right corner of the screen just under your child’s name
o This number will be required when logging into the BBCS for the first time.
o Write the NCAA ID # on a piece of paper along with your login information (username and password)
o You will need this information in Step #2
6) PROCEED TO STEP 2: COMPLETE THE RENEGADES PLAYER REGISTRATION
NOTE: Users from last year SHOULD NOT CREATE A DUPLICATE ACCOUNT and instead use the same e-mail log-in from the previous season.
At this point, the student-athlete will need to register or renew their player profile with the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS)

3) Enter the email you used to obtain your NCAA ID#
4) Complete the form
